Outrageously Obvious: Idolaters Don’t Read the Bible!



Idolatry is one of the many abominable things that God hates among His people. It is part of the past of early Christians.

I PETER 4:3 
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

 Their idolatries were described as abominable, hence clearly unacceptable to God. Generally, there are seven abominable things in the sight of the Lord: 1) A proud look, 2) A lying tongue, 3) Hands that claim innocent lives, 4) Heart that devised wicked imaginations, 5) Feet that run to do mischief, 6) False witnessing, and 7) Sowing discord among brethren.

PROVERBS 6:16-19 
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 
18 A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

 Of the seven mentioned, idolatry falls into “heart that deviseth wicked imaginations.”

 Idolatry in the biblical sense constitutes kneeling, praying, gazing or seeing an idol. But idolatry from the context of the entire Bible itself is not only kneeling down or seeing or gazing unto an idol but also keeping within oneself sentiments - against the will of God.

EPHESIANS 5:3-5 
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

 Paul further emphasized unto the church in Colossae what constitutes idolatry: covetousness. A covetous man is a greedy man that cannot have what he wants. He is an idolater in that the person devotes much time thinking of his object of desire more than he should.

COLOSSIANS 3:5-6 
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

 The damage to the soul caused by idolatry is not limited to just directly kneeling down, praying, gazing unto an idol of wood, metal, stone, and the like. It extends far beyond the presence of an idol including eating foods offered to it - before the idol or without. 

 Here are what the Bible warns about idols: 1) Idols can pollute the mind; 2) Offerings like meat are being offered to idols; 3) Conscience can be inhabited by the idol as allowed by man; 4) Conscience can be defiled by the idol; 5) Food sacrificed to idols can defile the one eating it - when eaten knowingly.

THE ACTS 15:19-20, 28-29 
19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well, Fare ye well.

I CORINTHIANS 8:7 
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

I CORINTHIANS 10:27-28 
27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. 
28 But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof:

 In the last situation, there stands the restricting clause, “but if any man say unto you.” You are free to eat; there is no information of food being offered to an idol. But… Remember, you are to consider your brother offering you a feast. If told that the food was offered to an idol, you must not eat it. It is plain to see here the relationship between conscience and idols. 

 God condemns respecters and keepers of idols! Incidentally, in some residences, gods of all sizes and all constitutions whether stone, wood, metal or ceramics can be found. Some are encased in glasses, some merely standing, and some placed visibly where a garland of fresh flowers is placed from time to time. Of course, such gods are made by the hands of men, which is why they are mere idols.

GENESIS 31:30-34 
30 And now, though thou wouldest needs be gone, because thou sore longest after thy father's house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen my gods? 
31 And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me. 
32 With whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern thou what is thine with me, and take it to thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them. 
33 And Laban went into Jacob's tent, and into Leah's tent, and into the two maidservants' tents; but he found them not. Then went he out of Leah's tent, and entered into Rachel's tent. 
34 Now Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not.

 Precious metals offered and used in idolatry or adoration of idols are equally evil with the idol itself that may cause snare of the soul of any person keeping it.

DEUTERONOMY 7:25 
The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

 This is why God condemned the household of Achan. They were idolaters. They coveted the material things of unbelievers that they were told to destroy.

JOSHUA 7:19-26 
19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me. 
20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: 
21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it. 
22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it. 
23 And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the LORD. 
24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor. 
25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. 
26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.

 But what are idols?

PSALMS 115:4-8 
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. 
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: 
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: 
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. 
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

 This Catholic priest accepts that kneeling down to pray before graven images is idolatry. But he does not consider that those images in the Catholic Church are mere wood or metal or stone, mere idols. Why couldn’t he when carpenters fool them by placing chemicals inside the idol that can drop in slow trickles as blood so that Steve Shott and his likes can claim miracle afterwards? (Some “religious” people enjoy being fooled and that explains why there are carpenter fools). 


Neither the idol (statue) nor any thing used in making it - be it precious like gold, silver, or stone - should be kept by a Christian! But Roman Catholics keep them all - complete with devotion and prayers being offered unto them.

THE ACTS 17:29 
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

 Dr. Paul M. Elliott, a writer, wrote about the Roman Catholic Church as “The Historic Champion of Counterfeit Worship.” In his article of the same title, he said -

Vatican teaching alleges a distinction between what it calls dulia (venerating saints and bowing before statues and human remains) and latria (worship directed toward God). Veneration is not the same as worship, they say. We are only venerating saints, relics, Mary, and popes past and present. However, they are making a distinction between veneration and worship that does not stand up under the light of Scripture. When man gives the adoration to other persons and objects that is to be reserved for the one true and living God alone, that is nothing less than counterfeit worship. When man gives the love, reverence, devotion, adulation - and yes, the veneration - to other persons and to other things when that love, reverence, devotion, adulation, and veneration rightfully belongs to God alone - Rome may call it by whatever Latin name it likes, but it is still counterfeit worship. Moreover, when man makes images and prays to them it is idolatry…. (Ref: teachingtheword.org).

 LET US DIG DEEPER. 

 Catholic Faith Apologetics reason that God ordered Moses to make the Ark of the Covenant. In this ark, the two tablets of stone with the (genuine) ten commandments written on them should be kept.

II CHRONICLES 5:10 
There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

 And upon it are the images of cherubs made with gold.

EXODUS 25:18 
And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.

 A quick look at the verses and a deep analysis of them reveals that it is not a commandment for all people, nor to any catholic, but to one particular person who is Moses.

HEBREWS 8:5 
Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount.

 Catholics do not have the same stature as that of Moses. God showed Moses heavenly things which things were not shown to any Catholic from its inception up to now. When I mentioned the Ten Commandments, I said, “the genuine Ten Commandments.” Why? Because the Catholic Church had intentionally restructured the genuine into their own crooked version! 

 Let us read the genuine version:

EXODUS 20:2-17 
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 
6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 
9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: 
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 
12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 
13 Thou shalt not kill. 
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 
15 Thou shalt not steal. 
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. 
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.

 Now let us read this photo reference indicating how the Catholic “formula” is arrived at. Second commandment is deleted!

 The Catholic Church removed the second commandment that is, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” 

 Outrageous! Take note of the Bible verses on the left. Moving to the right, they have what is called a “formula” but now the injunction about images is not reflected (Commandment 2 or “You shall have no other gods before me.” [Deuteronomy 5 for short form and Exodus 20 for longer form]). Towards the end, what happens is a splitting of the ninth commandment to serve as the 9th and 10th. 

 What could be their intention in removing that? Isn’t removal an indication that they understood what graven images mean yet refuse to follow? This is an utter disregard for the word of God, a very obvious foolhardiness of Catholic authorities striking out a very important portion of the Ten Commandments. 

 The clear objective is to cosmeticize their practice of profane, recklessly open, vulgar, and abominable idolatry! This is unspeakable, beastly, horrendous! 

 Read what is written in the Bible, and compare again and again the Catholic version of the Ten Commandments and you will discover that their disobedience of the Lord is scandalously evil and intended! 

 The second commandment of the genuine version (those reflected on the left portion) is missing in the “formula;” can you see that? (The “formula” is the one they teach to their people). Instead, the commandments that are supposed to follow are raised up higher and the last one is split in two. Would God need to split coveting when he has to declare it a sin?  

 But the Catholic Church did not just diminish a word but took away the entire second commandment!

DEUTERONOMY 5:7-9 
7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 
8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: 
9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

JEREMIAH 26:2 
Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:

 The question with Catholics is that they are not advised by their priests to read the Bible, contrary to the customs and traditions of real Christians! 

 Here’s what a Catholic priest said. He sounds assertive but the assertion more than displays his ignorance. To him, there is no injunction about reading the Bible. How sad for a priest – a supposed teacher of people! 


What will he teach his people if he doesn’t know his Bible? The Catechism is not the Bible. Meanwhile, the Bible is teeming with verses advising God’s people to read it. 

 It is now being affirmed that Catholics are not God’s people especially their priests. As exemplified by Steve Shotts, they do not know this particular will of God! Sadly, there are many Steve Shotts in the world, in fact, beginning with their present Pope whom we criticized for his pronouncements about Jesus Christ.

ISAIAH 34:16 
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

COLOSSIANS 4:16 
And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

I THESSALONIANS 5:27 
I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

 There is discipline in reading the Bible. Two are outstanding and these are – First, not to think of men above that which is written.


I CORINTHIANS 4:6 
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

 No purgatory, no limbo, no rosary. More yet, no Mary that appears and appears and speaks, no Catholic saints that start religious orders. 

 Second, not to add to nor take away from or deduct anything from what one is reading.

REVELATION 22:18 
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

 All these things are not only being disregarded by Catholic authorities but also being dreadfully transgressed! 

 The fact is, a minister of Christ must always read the Bible. He needs to do it.

I TIMOTHY 4:13 
Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

 But what will Timothy read?

II TIMOTHY 3:15-17 
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

 What obtains is that Catholic priests read fairy tales like apparition of Mary, the papal encyclicals, and the likes that lead them and their members away from the truth! 

 But God’s people from its kings down to the least of them are commanded by God to always read the Bible.

DEUTERONOMY 17:18-19 
18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites: 
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

JOSHUA 1:8 
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

 In spite of their folly, Catholics have the gall to claim that they were the ones who canonized the Scriptures. What a shame! 

 Now, does it pay to read the Bible? Definitely, YES! One gets blessed.

REVELATION 1:3 
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

 I am appealing to all Catholics who hate me. Continue hating me. I am blessed anyway by your hatred but please read your Bible and do your souls a favor!

MATTHEW 5:11 
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

The Possibility of an Existing Designer

A law does not determine the form and the being of a creature. It is the other way around. Laws are formulated by a designer, to preserve and discipline the existence, the movements, the symbiotic relationships, and survival of integral extant things.
Nature has laws, and laws did not create nature but the Creator of nature predetermined its laws.
THE ROMANS 11:24 (RSV)
For if you have been cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree.



Scientific knowledge nowadays, have realized the potential harm that can be caused by harsh human intervention in nature. Notice the emphasis of these products on non-GMO, for example.



The Institute for Responsible Technology (IRT) has been writing about the dangers of GMO foods. (Ref: http://www.responsibletechnology.org/gmo-dangers).GMO stands for genetically modified organism defined in the dictionary as “the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes may come from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans.”
Are they safe?
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) doesn’t think so. The Academy reported that “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, faulty insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. The AAEM asked physicians to advise patients to avoid GM foods.
Before the FDA decided to allow GMOs into food without labeling, FDA scientists had repeatedly warned that GM foods can create unpredictable, hard-to-detect side effects, including allergies, toxins, new diseases, and nutritional problems. They urged long-term safety studies, but were ignored.
The report said some of the findings of the AAEM include: (1)Thousands of sheep, buffalo, and goats in India died after grazing on Bt cotton plants; (2) Mice eating GM corn for the long term had fewer, and smaller, babies; (3) More than half the babies of mother rats fed GM soy died within three weeks, and were smaller;
-(4)Testicle cells of mice and rats on a GM soy change significantly; (5) By the third generation, most GM soy-fed hamsters lost the ability to have babies;(6) Rodents fed GM corn and soy showed immune system responses and signs of toxicity; (7) Cooked GM soy contains as much as 7-times the amount of a known soy allergen;
-(8)Soy allergies skyrocketed by 50% in the UK, soon after GM soy was introduced; (9)The stomach lining of rats fed GM potatoes showed excessive cell growth, a condition that may lead to cancer. Studies showed organ lesions, altered liver and pancreas cells, changed enzyme levels, etc.
As seen in the report, interventions in the studies involved Bt cotton plants, corn, soy, and potatoes. The report further said -
Unlike safety evaluations for drugs, there are no human clinical trials of GM foods. The only published human feeding experiment revealed that the genetic material inserted into GM soy transfers into bacteria living inside our intestines and continues to function. This means that long after we stop eating GM foods, we may still have their GM proteins produced continuously inside us.

Implications for interventions point to super diseases, but that is not all. The point is that such diseases are not within easy control of man. Studies hypothesize on GM corn, for example, and lay down the problem: turning intestinal bacteria into living pesticide factories. Here is the last part of the report -
If the antibiotic gene inserted into most GM crops were to transfer, it could create super diseases, resistant to antibiotics. If the gene that creates Bt-toxin in GM corn were to transfer, it might turn our intestinal bacteria into living pesticide factories. Although no studies have evaluated if antibiotic or Bt-toxin genes transfer, that is one of the key problems. The safety assessments are too superficial to even identify most of the potential dangers from GMOs.
What does the Bible say?
LEVITICUS 19:19
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle engender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee.

The injunction is not to mix! And when there is an injunction, there is a purpose – to the best of man.
Nature is governed by laws but nature has not the capacity to formulate the law of nature. How can something that will exist, before its existence determine the law it will follow during its existence? Someone superior in knowledge and strength, someone above nature, a supernatural, called in the Bible "God,” ordained the laws of nature.
Obviously, the interdependence of living creatures upon each other is formulated by a Designer. It is absurd to think or hypothesize, for example, that evolution or natural selection formulated the symbiotic benefits being derived by humans from the billions of bacteria that thrive within human alimentary canal! It is purposed by the Designer of life. No way could it be otherwise.
My eyes are located in a place where they can be most efficient to serve their purpose: to see. It was placed by the Intelligent Designer at the front because the most convenient way of mobility is to look forward where you are heading to. And if you want to see what is at the back, you can simply turn around easily, or you can use a mirror or a camera! How awkward it would be if the eyes of an atheist were placed at the back of his head. That’s laughable but it's a possibility - without an Intelligent Designer!
PSALMS 94:9
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
Even the foolish godless Charles Darwin admits that it is absurd to think that the complexity of the functions of the human eye could have been formed by natural selection! (Ref: Charles Darwin, “On the Origin of Species, Chapter 6 - Difficulties on Theory, p.80)
ORGANS OF EXTREME PERFECTION AND COMPLICATION.
To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree.
Mathematical exactness cannot be determined by mutation and evolution. Mutation, as science knows it, is a kind of accidental mishap. How can it be logically and scientifically possible that the billion cells in the human body have exactly 46 chromosomes each – if there is no designer? Take note that with the exception of the sperm cell of a male person having only 23 chromosomes and the egg cell of a female person also having the same number, the combinations are necessary to make up 46 chromosomes that will start a new cell life - an exact one half coming from the father and an exact one half coming from the mate, having the exact number, and exact codes of information to pass on character traits to the offspring. 

 
Some warm little pond, natural selection, survival of the fittest elimination of the unfit, or the whole idea of evolution cannot put all these things together with mathematical preciseness! In the first edition of "The Origin of Species" in 1859, Charles Darwin speculated about how natural selection could cause a land mammal to turn into a whale. As a hypothetical example, Darwin used North American black bears, which were known to catch insects by swimming in the water with their mouths open:
"I can see no difficulty in a race of bears being rendered, by natural selection, more aquatic in their structure and habits, with larger and larger mouths, till a creature was produced as monstrous as a whale," he speculated.
The idea didn't go over very well with the public. Darwin was so embarrassed by the ridicule he received that the swimming-bear passage was removed from later editions of the book.

Random mutations resulted in at least one whale having its nostrils placed farther back on its head. Those animals with this adaptation would have been better suited to a marine lifestyle, since they would not have had to completely surface to breathe. Such animals would have been more successful and had more offspring. In later generations, more mutations occurred, moving the nose farther back on the head.
Other body parts of early whales also changed. Front legs became flippers. Back legs disappeared. Their bodies became more streamlined and they developed tail flukes to better propel themselves through water.

The term random mutation is unacceptable to a real scientific mind! At the same time it is squarely unbiblical!
ECCLESIASTES 3:14
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Scientifically, all living things have DNA and genes - unknown to Darwin - that protect and preserve a definite species! God meant living things to produce its kind perpetually.
GENESIS 1:21-22
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
The phrases "after his kind,” and "after their kind,” means a definite species for every living thing. Findings in the Cambrian explosion prove this account in the Bible that most species existed simultaneously at the same time and not through natural selection. This denies the foolish idea of evolution. Notice the following in Darwin’s writings -
“If numerous species, belonging to the same genera or families, have really started into life all at once, the fact would be fatal to the theory to descent with slow modification though natural selection.” (Ref: Charles R. Darwin, ''The Origin of Species: The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life' A Facsimile of the First Edition, Harvard University Press, 1964, p. 302).
“To the question why we do not find rich fossiliferous deposits belonging to these assumed earliest periods prior to the Cambrian system, I can give no satisfactory answer. …Nevertheless, the difficulty of assigning any good reason for the absence of vast piles of strata rich in fossils beneath the Cambrian is very great… The case at present must remain inexplicable; and may be truly urged as a valid argument against the views here entertained.” (Ref: Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species By Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of the Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life, 1872, pp. 316-317) -

While it is true that mutation happens among living things, random mutation is likely impossible in the vast periods of time that have passed. The perpetuation of a particular species is dictated and preserved in the DNA. So pollution, radiation, and harmful chemicals that may cause mutations are not as common and extant in the distant past when allegedly evolution started as it is nowadays! More so, random mutation! Hence, 23 plus 23 equals 46 cannot be a formula determined by random mutation. I must emphasize that even the godless Darwin said that "It is absurd to think that the human eye is formed by natural selection!" Darwin is much, much, much, much, much better in thinking than atheists of today!
The condition recorded in the Bible after creation is: Situation is very good!
GENESIS 1:31
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
There were no harmful man-made chemicals, no intermittent radiation in the environment caused by man's invention such as microwaves, cellular phones, electrical appliances, etcetera, which can be possible causes of random mutation, why? Because the situation is very good!

Getting our parameters right begins with knowing beginnings, but more than that is being able to distinguish one beginning from the other. Most think that Day 1 of Creation is also Day 1 on Earth. The Bible explains that these two differ. It is on the fourth day of creation that the first earth day commenced.

GENESIS 1:16-19
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The doubt that we have to solve is how vegetation could exist when the sun was made to bring light unto the earth only on the fourth day.

It is scientific knowledge that vegetation can exist for some time without the light of the sun upon which plants depend to produce their food by the process of photosynthesis. We must remember that it was on the third day of creation that God caused the appearing of dry land from the globe of waters, after which He caused vegetation to appear.

GENESIS 1:9-13
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

From these accounts, we understand that two great parts of creation happened on the third day: the appearing of the ground or the dry land, afterwards the appearing of vegetation. This is wonderfully scientific considering that the book of Genesis was written less than four thousand years ago, when people could hardly understand that vegetation is necessary to hold soil on its place and to prevent erosion! But the doubt is focused on this: why was the sun necessary for plant life made only the following day which is the fourth day?

As I mentioned earlier, there are plants that can exist for some time even without sunlight.

The possibility is that since vegetation and plant life were created at the end of the third day (of Creation), the sun was made to shine immediately at the start of the fourth day (Day 1 for Earth). This solves the scientific problem involved!

While it is true that the bud of a seed that grows tend to the direction of light, it is also true that the budding process can start without light. A seed planted below the surface of the soil where there is no light will grow.

REVISED STANDARD VERSION
I CORINTHIANS 15:36-38
36 You foolish man! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
37 And what you sow is not the body which is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
38 But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.

This will clearly erase the doubt in the mind of one who understands the truth in the Bible and in science, but certainly will be questioned by scoffers!

We must also consider that when God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass,” he did not say "Let the dry land bring forth grass.” When God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass,” he meant the ground in dry land and the ground under the sea to bring forth plant life. It is worthwhile mentioning that “grass” – the plant life in the depths of the sea sustain most of marine creatures.


Back to Creation, at the dawn of the fifth day God said -

GENESIS 1:20
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

This is a very scientific chronology of the account of creation in Genesis! After plant life was caused by God to exist at the dusk of the third day and the sun to give light unto the earth immediately at the dawn of the fourth day, marine creatures were brought forth at the dusk of the fifth day! What a wonderful scientific narration, not found in any other book on earth! Here’s an excerpt describing the Earth before as “barren landscape” quoting researchers from Pennsylvania State University -

The earliest evidence of land plants and fungi appears in the fossil record around 480 million years ago. Before that, the Earth's landscape was believed to consist of barren rocks, home to bacteria and possibly some algae. But some have argued that it is quite possible for land-dwelling plants and fungi to have been around much earlier, but their primitive bodies were too soft to be preserved as fossils in rock. Science affirms - as do atheists guess - that marine life existed before land life. Richard Dawkins wrote that, being land-oriented now, one day he will go back to the sea. Dawkins is a British evolutionary biologist.

I MUST GO DOWN TO THE SEA AGAIN
The move from water to land launched a major redesign of every aspect of life, from breathing to reproduction: it was a great trek through biological space. Nevertheless, with what seems almost wanton perversity, a good number of thoroughgoing land animals later turned around, abandoned their hard-earned terrestrial retooling, and trooped back into the water again. Seals and sea lions have only gone part-way back. (The Greatest Show on Earth by Richard Dawkins, Page 80).

THE START OF HUMAN LIFE

Note that marine life were brought forth first then land life.

GENESIS 1:24-25
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Animals like cattle and creeping things were made by God at the dawn of the sixth day of creation and humans towards the end of the sixth day. (Creeping things are on dry land, not in the sea). This allows millions of years of animal existence before mankind. This also solves doubt about the existence of dinosaurs millions of years before mankind! A day in creation is not a 24-hour day as other Bible apologists claim!

ISAIAH 66:8
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

The earth was not brought forth in one (1) earth-day! The First to the Fourth day of Creation happened before the sun was made to shine in the dome of the sky to light the earth, determining how an earth-day is made!

Creation: The Most Misunderstood Portion of Genesis
Human sciences are wanting, wanting as ever. That is because God has reserved some knowledge of his work for him alone.

ECCLESIASTES 8:17
Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labor to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

As defined in the dictionary, human science is the study and interpretation of the experiences, activities, constructs, and artefacts associated with human beings. Normally used with the Letter “s,” the human sciences correspond to humanities and social sciences, but also include aspects of psychology and even mathematics.


Discussions by Michael Dunn in The Human Sciences (2013), theoryofknowedge.net said many people do not consider human sciences as true science because they rely on empirical observation to arrive at findings. In contrast, the natural sciences, which are much ‘stricter’ in their use of observation, are backed up by rational theorizing. Still they are just theories. And yet man resorts to either in trying to understand the universe.

Therefore, human sciences as well as natural sciences endeavoring at their best, lack explanation in so many things that actually happen and exist. In faith and in the Bible such unexplained thing is called mystery. This progress report, for example, by Adam Hadhazy published in Popular Mechanics is about unsolved mysteries of science.

To qualify, not everything in the Bible is considered a mystery. The Bible contains information worded in simple words understandable even by the most illiterate of humans. Honor and obey a father and a mother can be understood even by a child.

EPHESIANS 6:1-2
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

To do good to everybody can easily be understood by a person of good conscience.

GALATIANS 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

But how about having light, morning and evening the first day when the sun and the moon were made on the fourth day? Can’t this be possible scientifically speaking? Let us investigate within the pages of the "book" that offers humanity the only credible and real scientific information on how the universe came into existence!

GENESIS 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In this verse, the only refuted word by unbelievers, especially the atheists, is "God". Real science believes in beginnings. Real science believes that there is an earth, a planet. Real science believes in the expanse that envelopes the earth and other heavenly bodies they call "space" which the Bible calls "heavens".

GENESIS 1:7-8
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

To a person well-versed on the manner of how the Bible was written, the first verse which says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" is easily understood as the heavens created ahead of the creation of the earth. (The Bible speaks of first things first.) This will give us the implication that the heavens or the universe in its entirety should be older than the earth and this is amazingly scientific! To prove this idea let us read verse 2.

GENESIS 1:2
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

While verse 1 contains the information that the heavens and the earth were created, we may notice that on verse 2, only the earth was mentioned to be formless and void, meaning that the heavens were already formed at the time that the earth was without form and void. No known and accepted knowledge in science refutes this Biblical truth: that the earth is much younger than the universe that contains it.

Most scientists believe that the universe can be as old as 13 billion years while the earth is 4 to 4.5 billion years old. But why can’t billions of years possibly be the age of the universe when most religious apologists say that the earth is only 6,000 years old?
The most misunderstood portion of the account of creation is that the heavens and the earth were created in six days, and for most of them were literal six 24-hour days, which is wrong!

The counting of the "first day" must be noted to have commenced after the creation of the heavens and the earth when light started to appear.

GENESIS 1:3-5
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

The pronouncement, "Let there be light" does not mean that the existence of light-emitting heavenly bodies like stars and nebulae will only begin at that time. Remember that the heavens was created and formed already in verse 1.

From logic, what is possible is that the process of nuclear fission in stars and other heavenly light-emitting bodies started at the time when God said "Let there be light." This is very much like when the starter of the fluorescent lamp is activated! 

One important thing to consider is (in my mind but not in every mind), that the first day mentioned, is the first day after the creation of the heavens and the earth and not the first day on the planet earth! There are days in heaven which are very much different from days on earth.

DEUTERONOMY 11:21
That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

This explains the fact that only on the fourth day God caused the existence of two great lights to light and to rule upon the earth, (Note that on earth only) because scientifically speaking, our lights - the sun, and the moon –  are very insignificant in relation to the entire universe!

GENESIS 1:14-16
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also.

To understand the scientificity of the account in Genesis we must take note of the use of the word "made two great lights".

The word bârâ' (baw-raw), create, was used in verse 1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” while the word ‛âśâh (aw-saw), to make, was used in verse 16, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: the stars also.”

“To create” is to make something exist while “to make” is to produce something from something that already exists. It is not only logical but scientific to say that "God made two great lights" which biblically and scientifically means that the sun and the moon were already in existence before God caused the sun to emit light and the moon to reflect on earth.
